Tettenhall College pupils bring holiday magic to life as they take to the stage in Nativity the Musical at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre!
Wolverhampton – Bilston Operatic Company is thrilled to present Nativity the Musical at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, running from 13th November – 17th November 2024.
In this heartwarming holiday show, Tettenhall College Year 7 pupils Daniel Webley and Harvey Westwood-Hilbert will star as students from the fictional St Bernadette’s and Oakmoor Schools, bringing a fresh spirit and youthful energy to the stage.
After recently taking on the roles of Oliver and Fagin in the school production, Harvey and Daniel are thrilled to return with even more opportunities to showcase their talent to a large audience. With Nativity the Musical focused on two groups of children at the heart of the action, Daniel and Harvey will be featured more on the stage, playing characters that promise to capture audiences with their enthusiasm and charm.
“This production has really given Daniel and Harvey the chance to shine once again on stage. Their hard work and commitment are evident, and they bring a wonderful dynamic to the cast” said Musical Director and Director of Music at Tettenhall College, Mr Gareth Howard.
This show marks Gareth Howard’s fourth production with Bilston Operatic Company, following the success of Kinky Boots, Peter Pan and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Assisting Gareth by sharing rehearsals in this production, is Tettenhall College singing teacher Mr Simon Deakin, who has been instrumental in preparing the cast. Gareth has worked since May to prepare the young actors for this musical.
Bilston Operatic Company is proud to have links with Tettenhall College, allowing students to gain invaluable real-world experience on stage at one of the best provincial theatres in the UK.
