Pupils and staff at Tettenhall College came together to raise over £1,100 this morning for Macmillan Cancer Support at the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. It was a fabulous atmosphere as the school, parents and the wider community supported a great cause.
Going above and beyond a normal cake sale, Tettenhall College welcomed entries for ‘It’s a Cake Off’, a school bake off which saw many wonderful cakes being baked and donated in the theme of House colours, the new TC House animals or TC itself. Nicholson House were crowned the winners! In addition to the delightful treats, there will be an array of activities and entertainment for guests of all ages.
Dr Kimberley Swann, Head of Sixth Form said “The Macmillan Coffee Morning is a cherished tradition here at Tettenhall College. It was great to see so many parents, pupils and staff support our wonderful event this morning and I would like to thank everyone that donated and baked for the event. We raised an incredible amount of money, and we will continue fundraising activities for Macmillan Cancer support throughout the year.”
