Tettenhall College shines bright as pupils in Year 13 celebrate their excellent A Level results, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey.

The school takes pride in the exceptional achievements of its students. Leading the way is Alice D (pictured) who has achieved an impressive A*, A, A, A. Her remarkable performance has ensured she will now pursue her dream of studying medicine.  This accomplishment reflects both her personal dedication and the outstanding academic environment at Tettenhall College.

Josh R is today celebrating an outstanding set of results securing A*, A*, A, B, B and is off to University of Birmingham. International boarders Sara M and German L produced outstanding performances with A*, A*, A, A, A and A*, A, A, A, C, C respectively.

Fellow pupil and head prefect Jorgah H has achieved A, B, B, B, showcasing her commitment to academic excellence. Jorgah’s passion for history will be further nurtured as she embarks on a degree in history and politics at the University of York. Having started her journey at Tettenhall College from Nursery, Jorgah recognises the School’s special role in shaping her aspirations and preparing her for the next phase of life.

Emily F is preparing for her move to Lancaster University to study a degree in geography. Many of the Tettenhall College graduating students are off to a range of excellent Russell Group universities including the University of Manchester, University of Warwick, University of Southampton, and the University of Liverpool.

Mr McAllister, the Headmaster of Tettenhall College, expressed his immense joy at the outstanding achievements of the students on A Level Results Day. He shared, “It has been an absolute delight to witness the celebrations of pupils, parents, and teachers over these fantastic results. As our students move forward to pursue their dreams in various professions, we extend our best wishes for their future endeavours, confident that they will achieve remarkable things.”

The exam regulator for England, Ofqual, has told exam boards to aim for the proportion of top grades to be in line with levels seen in 2019.  Tettenhall College A Level students performed even better than this last pre-COVID cohort.

The school is proud to announce that the overall pass mark is up on the 2019 results, as is their percentage of A*/A and B grades. A quarter of grades were awarded at A* to A, leaving students, parents, and teachers with a lot to be proud of.

Tettenhall College Sixth Form offers a broad range of subjects for A Levels from art & design to computer science, from music to psychology and more. For year 11 pupils who will be receiving their GCSE results next week, there’s still time to enquire about sixth form at Tettenhall College.
