Tettenhall College is uniquely positioned within acres of ancient woodland – the perfect place for children to explore and learn in innovative ways outside of the classroom.
Our spectacular woodland is used by children from Reception age upwards and their Forest School activities are a much-loved part of the week. Children are stimulated by the great outdoors and the physical, intellectual and emotional benefits are far-reaching. From hide and seek to environmental artwork and tool skills, all activities are engaging and make learning enjoyable. Forest School encourages pupils’ development of their individual abilities and self-esteem, as well as teaching vital inter-personal and team-work skills.
