A Great Location
Located in the Midlands, just 40 minutes from Birmingham Airport in the village of Tettenhall, our historic school buildings sit within 33 acres of woodland and grounds.
Tettenhall is one of only a handful of places in England to have two village greens. The Upper Green has a large traditional pool, an extensive open grass area and is home to Wolverhampton Cricket Club, where W. G. Grace visited and played.
The High Street showcases a myriad of different independent shops and amenities including coffee shops, a bakery, newsagents, a delicatessen, a greengrocer and a bank to name a few.
It is a safe and friendly place which is only a few minutes’ walk from the College whilst the City of Wolverhampton is a short bus ride away. Wolverhampton is now amongst the top-ten economic growth areas in the UK, thanks to more than £3.7 billion-worth of investment on-site or planned.
The city has already seen rapid developments with major projects such as i54, The Way Youth Zone and i10. There are more exciting developments planned for the West side of the city too. The leisure-led mixed user scheme includes a multi-screen cinema, restaurants, bars, hotel, multi-storey car parking and apartments. We are surrounded by an abundance of attractions to which trips are organised most weekends, be that cultural, the arts or the outstanding areas of natural beauty.
With the European city of Birmingham on our doorstep, there is a range of museums, theatres and The Bullring, a major European shopping centre close at hand. In short, something for everyone!
Our central location means we are also well-served for transport links, with easy access to the national rail network, including a high speed train to London and Birmingham. A train to Birmingham takes 20 minutes, a train to Coventry takes 40 minutes and London can be reached in 1h40m.
Additionally, the school works with a designated local company and can arrange for pickups and drop offs from Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester Airports.
