SENIOR SCHOOL TASTER DAY YRS 5 & 6 - saturday 7th OCTober 9am - 3pm
PREP SCHOOL OPEN MORNING - friday 17th NOVEMBER 9AM - 11.30 am
Throughout the year we hold a series of Open Days, Tours and Year 5 Taster Days that will give you and your child the opportunity to visit our school and even experience school life through lessons and activities with our pupils and staff.
These events will give you a valuable insight into the ethos, atmosphere and day to day life at the school.
Most importantly you will be able to make a more informed choice about the next step in your child's educational journey and we are happy to answer your questions and help you in determining whether Tettenhall College would fit the individual needs of your child.
Our Open Days are a perfect way to come and see the School and our facilities as well as meet our staff and pupils. We appreciate that even an Open Day can be quite daunting for your child and we deliberately make them very informal affairs. You will be shown around the school by one of our pupils and there is plenty of opportunity for you and your child to interact with members of staff and find out more about the subjects and the extra-curricular activities that we offer. We finish our tour in our on-site coffee shop where you will meet our Headmaster and Deputy Heads who are available to answer any other questions you may have.
The next step on the journey is for your child to join us for a taster day. This gives them the opportunity to experience a ‘normal’ day at Tettenhall College, take part in lessons and meet the other children in their year group. .
The taster day is a really important part of the admissions journey and we can arrange these to suit your needs depending on when your child is starting with us.
senior school taster day for years 5 & 6
In addition to our taster days, we hold Senior School Taster Days for pupils in Years 5 and 6, our next one will be taking place on Saturday 7th October 2017 from 9:00am until 3:00pm. This is an opportunity for current Year 5 and 6 pupils who are moving to Year 7 in September 2018 or 2019 to experience a day at a Senior School. It is open to all pupils in these year groups who are looking at the next step in their education and is designed to make senior school a less daunting prospect for your child.
There will be a range of exciting lessons and fun activities to get involved in and we will of course provide lunch and refreshments during the day. Many of our pupils come along with a friend, this is really a great chance for the children themselves to take a closer look.
Places are limited to ensure small class sizes, so to book a place for your son or daughter please contact our Registrar on 01902 751119 or email email@example.com
Parents and pupils were overwhelmingly supportive of the school, with many parents saying that they would recommend the school to others and the pupils affirming that they like being at the school. ISI Report 2014
